Tomoyo graduated with honors from the Department of Oriental Medicine at Niigata College of Nursing and Medical Care in Japan. She has extensive international experience, having lived and worked in countries such as Fiji, Costa Rica, and the Philippines. This diverse background has endowed her with exceptional communication skills and the ability to empathize with patients from various cultures.

Tomoyo began her career as a freelance acupuncturist specializing in home visits, focusing on meridian therapy. She uses the thinnest needles (0.12mm) and teishin techniques to provide gentle, non-invasive treatments. Her personal experience with hypersensitivity and chronic symptoms allows her to deeply understand and address the unique needs of her patients.

My Story

Combining her background in education, international cooperation, and traditional Japanese medicine, Tomoyo adopts a holistic approach to her practice. She specializes in treating non-specific complaints such as coldness, digestive issues, and allergies, as well as neck and shoulder stiffness, lower back pain, and hip joint disorders. Her treatments are particularly suited for elderly women who are new to acupuncture and may have concerns about pain and sensitivity. In addition to her medical expertise, Tomoyo is passionate about promoting wellness through yoga and cost-effective beauty and anti-aging practices. Her dedication to continuous learning and personal development makes her an invaluable asset to our clinic.
